Rye is an ancient grain said to have many healthy benefits, including weight loss, improving digestion and lowering blood pressure to name a few. It contains copper, magnesium, phosphorous, B-complex vitamins, dietary fiber, and more!
*Preparation: Add 1 cup of flakes to 3 cups of boiling spring water. Boil for 3-4 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Remove from heat, cover and let it stand for 3-5 minutes before serving. Serve hot adding in your favorite recommended fruit!
Makes 4 servings.
*NOTE: This is an organic product and may contain hulls. Remove prior to cooking. Hulls are dark and can be picked out of the flakes before adding to water. They also rise to the top of water while cooking and can be skimmed away from the surface, using a spoon.
