We offer wild crafted raw Irish Moss, which is a species of seaweed that grows along the rocky coasts of the Atlantic and Pacific ocean. This raw Irish Moss does not have a strong taste, has a slight sea odor, and contains the minerals and nutrients needed for our electrical bodies. Rinse thoroughly, repeating if necessary, until clean. Soak up to 24 hours or until re-hydrated, at room temperature, then do a final rinse ensure all sand and salt is removed. Blend 1 cup Irish Moss with 1.5-2 cups of water until smooth and creamy. When made as a gel, it can be used an alkaline electric or vegan thickener and emulsifier. It’s a great addition to smoothies, soups and other recipes found on our website. Additionally can be used as a gelling agent for raw food desserts, ice creams and more! Refrigerate after preparing gel in glass container.
