Palo Guaco Bark

Palo Guaco is currently harvested from natural rainforest settings and has been used by natives as a treatment for snake or insect bites.  

Guaco naturally contains about 10% coumarin, which functions as an anticoagulant known to reduce the formation of blood clots.  It’s know to have been given to those who’ve had heart valve replacements, heart attacks or who are in danger of strokes or blood clots.
