Whole grain spelt, also known as dinkel wheat or hulled wheat, is an original ancient grain.   This grain or berry is a perfect alternative to rice and can also be grounded down into a flour for breads and baking.  Check out Ty’s Alkaline Electric recipes below for ideas!

Whole grain spelt.

Also known as dinkel wheat or hulled wheat

Preparation: Rinse & soak 1 cup spelt in spring water overnight & drain. Add to 3 cups spring water and bring to a boil. Stir; cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 45-60 minutes or until soft. Add 30 minutes if grains were not soaked.
Makes 4 servings (2¼ cups).
