We offer wildcrafted raw Irish Moss, which is a species of seaweed that grows along the rocky coasts of the Atlantic and Pacific ocean. This raw Irish Moss does not have a strong taste, has a slight sea odor, and contains the minerals and nutrients needed for our electrical bodies. Rinse thoroughly, repeating if necessary, until clean. Soak up to 24 hours at room temperature, then do a final rinse ensure all sand and salt is removed. Blend 1 cup Irish Moss with 1.5-2 cups of water until smooth and creamy. When made as a gel, it can be used an alkaline electric or vegan thickener and emulsifier. It’s a great addition to smoothies, soups and other recipes found on our website. Additionally can be used as a gelling agent for raw food desserts, ice creams and more!
